Wonder how much that applies to social software and organisational behaviours?
And even when the outcome really is different, there’s been a long process behind that difference. I liked that one analogy Jim Collins drew in his book Good to Great where he says that when a chick breaks out of its egg, we say, “Wow, that chick is strong, ready for life” when in reality, the process has been a continuous one, and this exciting instant is just one part of a whole.
Too right!
